In response to growing consumer interest in health and healthy eating, Publix is unveiling stand-alone GreenWise Market stores targeted at busy, health-conscious shoppers looking for both high-quality products and an exceptional shopping experience. The Healthnotes kiosks are being provided as a service to customers, educating them about the benefits of fresh foods and health-related products.
Healthnotes kiosks will be integrated in the store and are an extension of the healthy living resources Publix already offers its shoppers in-store and online. In almost every department of their stores, Publix provides nutritional shelf-tags to highlight certain foods that are especially healthy. In addition, for more than three years, Publix has included Healthnotes content under the "Wellness & Pharmacy" section of their website, www.publix.com. By offering resources in-store and online, Publix is providing shoppers what they need, where and when they need it.
